Stained Glass Chalice in winter windowWelcome!

We are a Welcoming Congregation of the UUA
(Unitarian Universalist Association).

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Ellsworth, Maine offers liberal religious community, growth, worship, and fellowship, serving the Blue Hill Peninsula and Downeast Maine from Ellsworth to Sedgewick to Stuben to Otis. With diverse theologies we walk a common path seeking wisdom, compassion, connection, faith, and justice.

Services are held at 10:30 on Sunday mornings all year, and childcare is nearly always provided. We have Religious Exploration classes for children during the school year, and children are also welcome in our sanctuary. People usually wear tidy casual or business casual clothes to worship.

In addition we have adult religious education and enrichment classes during the week, and we have fun with potlucks, social events, and fundraisers for causes of the community throughout the year.

Our minister is Rev. Sara Huisjen.

We invite you to join us some Sunday soon!
